Job Description Technical Architect
Location: Bangalore/ Mumbai/ Noida
The Technical Architect is responsible for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution. The Technical Architect will work as a team member along with the Project Manager, Developer and Customer technical team to deliver the complete solution for the customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Technical Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
– Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
– Complete/oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
– Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
– Manage multiple development designs and projects to meet project and customer required time lines.
– Emphasis and enforce best practices as well as design patterns
– Learn and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, designs and solutions
– Provide Training to team as required
– Identifying the organizations needs
– Breaking down large scale projects into manageable modules
– Working out which IT products to use based on cost benefit analysis and research
Agreeing plans with the client
– Explaining to designers and developers what’s required and overseeing the progress
– Producing documents that monitor progress and ensure the quality of the project
– Advising the client on managing future IT needs
Required skills-
– Good communication with clients/operational managers listening and providing answers
– Strong problem solving skills
– UML diagrams and tools
– Ability to build from good relationships with clients/operational managers and colleagues
– Ability to gather and assimilate information
– Up to date knowledge of technical applications
– Good knowledge of quality standards, legislation and best practice
– Ability to be adapt and prioritise
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
– Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Cloud technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities. Additional preferred qualifications are;
B.Sc./ B. Tech. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
