Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Sales Manager and will work with our global team and is responsible for the following primary duties:
• Provide consultative sales support to business partners (resellers)
• Assist assigned partners in closing sales opportunities
• Drive performance of business partners to meet or exceed program metrics, goals and objectives
• Expand relationships and identify opportunities with current resellers to aggressively grow sales volume
• Document all interactions in Salesforce.com
• Communicate and implement marketing programs & product updates with business partners
• Become a trusted consultant and product expert to named accounts
• Responsible for territory quota by growing business partner sales
• Demonstrates knowledge of SaaS and technology
• Develop and execute a business plan to exceed the assigned revenue target
• Maintain regular communication with manager(s) and team
• Manage sales pipeline as well as work collaboratively to ensure sales targets are met
• Perform necessary customer service duties to exceed client and partner expectations
• Handle issues and escalations
Required Experience, Skills and Education:
• Direct or Channel sales (reseller) experience required
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of required technology
• Strong background in direct and/or channel/partner account management and development (revenue based with partner relationships)
• Execute, manage and document partner lifecycle activities within a CRM system, Database experiencea plus.
• A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas within Channel Management Structure
• 0 to 2 years of outbound call center experience or equivalent
• High level of interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• CRM program experience a plus (SalesForce.com, Siebel etc.)
• Proficiency in the use of email and navigation within the internet
• High level of business writing skills
• Personal drive, energy, enthusiasm, and can do attitude
• Proficient in use of MS Office suite products (Excel, Word, etc)
• Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent technology related experience, coursework or certifications
